Go Back in Time at Ringwood, Hampshire

Ringwood, Hampshire, is a streamyx wireless broadband old marketing town with an ancient market place that has a market charter dating back to the early part of the thirteenth century. The cattle market Sdsl Modem the town was closed in 1989 and since then webcam internet has gained a reputation as a dormitory town. It is a lovely little town that has a lot of history and yet remains un-spoilt and free from negative external influences.

The town is known as the gateway from the west to the New Forest, an unenclosed Tm Streamyx Broadband of forest land with pastures and meadows. The streets are lined by shops, pubs and cafes with plenty of street side entertainment to be enjoyed.

Ringwood possibly got its name from its proximity to forest land and as the name suggests, it is a place that is ringed by woods. The eleventh century name for the place was Rincewed and the same could have been distorted over the years to sound what it broadband suppliers now. This name also fits the town, as it alludes to a river or a watercourse and the river Avon flows right past the town. Monmouth house, a building near the market is said to have been the hiding place for James, the duke of Monmouth after his army was routed in the battle of Sedgemoor with the royal forces. James was captured near Ringwood and later executed.

Ringwood is not exactly known for attracting tourists a lot. Though the town has a few theme parks, leisure gardens, a museum and few very old buildings, none of these are outstandingly significant. The more famous places in the town are the a leisure theme park that was in the news for not offering what it originally promised - Christmas themed family entertainment and a few buildings of historical significance like the Monmouth house. Ringwood also boasts of a Radio Dsl that is run by students. It was also the shooting location for the BBC comedy series, "The Brittas Empire".
